Double-sided and fanless: faces the street and the store.
Double-sided hanging shop window display, 32 to 65 inches, Full HD. The street side delivers 3000 cd/m², the inside 700 cd/m². Both sides show the same content in sync or different content independently. Automatic brightness control, fanless design, 24/7 operation, hanging bracket with adjustable length.
The street-facing side reaches 3000 cd/m² and stays legible in daylight, while the inside is tuned to the sales floor at 700 cd/m². IPS panel with a 178° viewing angle.
Two built-in Android boards: both sides show the same content, or each side runs its own programme, for example advertising facing out and promotions facing in.
A light sensor adjusts the brightness to the ambient light, during the day and in the evening.
Industrial-grade LCD panel with an aluminium heat sink and a panel working temperature of up to 80 °C. Fanless design, operating noise rated by the manufacturer below 25 dB at full load.
The length of the hanging bracket can be adjusted to the desired height in the window.
Load images and videos onto a USB stick and plug it in: the content is copied to the device and then plays in a loop. No computer or network required.
Standard: content from a USB stick, played locally. The device is available as a network version with LAN and Wi-Fi; cloud management (smartenic Control) is coming soon.
Remote control, key, power cable, ceiling bracket, 8 GB SD card.
The street side shows promotions to passers-by while the inner side shows add-on offers to customers in the store. Both sides play the same or different content.
The menu and lunch specials facing the street, daily recommendations or ordering information facing the room. The display hangs freely in the window without blocking the view inside.
Listings or campaigns facing the street, advisory topics and waiting information for customers in the branch. One unit replaces two separate screens in the window.
Seasonal promotions facing out, service and product information facing in. The light sensor adapts brightness to daylight, while the inner side stays matched to the sales floor.

These answers refer to the smartenic high-brightness range.
Behind glass the image competes with daylight and with reflections on the pane. A regular indoor panel runs at roughly 300 nits and looks washed out from the street when the sun hits. High-brightness displays start much higher: the SMARTENIC Vision HB and the street side of the double-sided Vision HB Dual deliver 3,000 nits, and a light sensor adjusts brightness to the ambient light.
High-brightness describes panels built for environments with a lot of ambient light. Luminance is measured in nits (candela per square metre). For context: indoor displays sit at roughly 300 nits. The SMARTENIC Vision HB reaches 3,000 nits; the Vision HB Dual reaches 3,000 nits on the street side and 700 nits on the side facing the sales floor.
Technically yes, sensibly usually not. An indoor panel at roughly 300 nits is hard to make out from the street in daylight — which is exactly when people walk past. A shop window display therefore works at a higher luminance. If you only play content in the evening and the window faces away from the sun, an indoor display can do; with sun on the glass it cannot.
The SMARTENIC Vision HB is single-sided: one picture facing the street at 3,000 nits, cooled by temperature-controlled fans. The SMARTENIC Vision HB Dual has two screens back to back — 3,000 nits towards the street, 700 nits towards the sales floor — and is built fanless. Two built-in Android players show the same content on both sides in sync, or separate programmes independently. Both models come in 32, 43, 49, 55 and 65 inches in Full HD, without touch.
No, as long as it hangs indoors behind the pane. The SMARTENIC Vision HB and Vision HB Dual are indoor devices and therefore carry no IP protection rating. As soon as the display sits on the outside of the facade, under a canopy or in an open-sided passage, it needs a weatherproof enclosure — that is what the outdoor range with IP65 is for.
Both models hang behind the glass, and a ceiling bracket is included — on the Vision HB Dual with adjustable length. You need a load-bearing ceiling or sub-structure and a socket within reach. In the standard version content goes onto the device via USB stick; the network version with LAN or Wi-Fi is managed remotely through a cloud CMS. That way window campaigns change without anyone swapping printed posters.
